
Kathleen Fenton is a New York based artist illustrator. She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia where she practiced both physical and digital art making. Kathleen continues to articulate herself in digital and watercolor paintings with innovative modes of display. In 2019, she was awarded the Carl J. Nordell Memorial Scholarship for her achievements and professional potential. She works from rural Western New York, the ecosystems of which are a primary influence on her work. Her work has been displayed in galleries throughout the state and been commissioned by business conventions and religious institutions. She is currently pursuing an MFA degree at Stony Brook University, where she teaches drawing classes.
